The story begins with a creation that still had no heart
His creator sought him, for the creature lacked a heart
And I still did not know what it was like to feel and be
I needed to know

From a heart came the song of transforming sensation
Of being a being
And in the heart, emotion arose with satisfaction
In the realization of the dream
With the heart, the passion exploded, for the creature
Discovered love

I do not know. I did not understand, I just wanted a heart
I did not know it would be so, so sore
I do not want a heart like that
But I know a better heart than mine
